The “15th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence” park in Ashgabat has been thoroughly modernized and reopened with a festive ceremony. The event was attended by members of the Mejlis (Parliament), representatives of ministries and sectoral agencies, public organizations, media outlets, elders, students, and children.
As a result of the renovation, the park now offers comfortable conditions for recreation and sports. Playgrounds for children were modernized, bicycle paths were constructed, commercial kiosks were installed, and the lighting system was completely replaced. These improvements provide a safe and convenient environment for residents of all age groups.
Cultural events were held as part of the opening ceremony. Children enjoyed performances by a violin ensemble, stage acts by artists from the State Puppet Theater of Turkmenistan, and had the opportunity to meet characters from fairy tales. These performances sparked special interest among the young guests.
The development of urban parks not only creates spaces for relaxation but also fosters cultural environments. Parks become venues for celebrations, concerts, and public events, strengthening community bonds and social interaction among residents.
