On December 11, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Director of the Institute for Global Innovation Studies of the Republic of Korea Kim Jin Pyo.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet and the invitation to participate in the Forum in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, the guest warmly congratulated the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, as well as President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the entire Turkmen people on this significant date.

In this context, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan noted that, as Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Kim Jin Pyo made a significant contribution to developing cooperation with Turkmenistan and expressed gratitude for the ongoing work to strengthen interstate dialogue.
