December 12, 2025, the Turkmen capital is hosting an International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, the International Day of Neutrality, and the designation of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust”. High-level delegations from countries around the world, as well as representatives of international and regional organizations, are participating in the event.
In the morning, the heads of high-level delegations participating in the International Forum laid floral bouquets at the Monument of Neutrality, symbolizing deep respect for our country’s foreign policy and its legal status of permanent neutrality, enshrined in the special resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
The heads of delegation then proceeded to the Turkmenistan Congress Center, where a joint official photograph of the heads of delegation took place.
Then, with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan, the opening of the International Forum and the plenary session “Peace and Trust: Unity of Purpose for a Sustainable Future” took place.
The forum was addressed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Khachaturyan, the President of the Republic of Iraq Abdul Latif Rashid, the President of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, as well as the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini Russell Dlamini, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nyo Soe.
