Arkadag, December 24, 2025. In the final round of Group B of the AFC Champions League Two, Turkmenistan’s representative Arkadag FC hosted Bahrain’s strong contender Al Khalidiya FC. The match ended with a 1–0 victory for the home side.
The only goal of the game was scored in the 45th minute by Arkadag’s forward Yazgylych Gurbanov, whose precise strike decided the outcome and secured three important points for the team.
Although Al Khalidiya controlled possession for most of the match, Arkadag’s defense remained solid, preventing the visitors from creating dangerous opportunities. The home team relied on fast counterattacks and maintained a high tempo throughout the game.
The match, held at the state-of-the-art Arkadag Stadium, drew strong support from fans and further strengthened the club’s growing international reputation.
