On December 27, the Winter Sports Complex in the capital kicked off the New Year’s holiday concerts of famous pop stars from foreign countries. The first to perform was the Swedish singer, composer and producer Arash Labaf, who was of Iranian descent and raised the festive spirit of the capital’s residents and guests with his wonderful songs.
Arash Labaf, who once occupied the top positions in the charts of the most listened to music in the world and is still known for his songs that do not lose their melodiousness, came to our country for the first time and created an unprecedented sensation on the Turkmen stage.
For information, Arash, who was born in 1977 in the capital of the neighboring Islamic Republic of Iran, lived in this country for 10 years. The fact that his parents emigrated to Europe as a family created conditions for the future star, who was deeply interested in art, to better understand and use the existing opportunities. As a result, at the age of 14, Arash created his first creative group. His music albums are distinguished by their multilingualism. This feature was noticed by our country’s music fans from the very first songs performed by the famous singer on the Turkmen stage. In the songs “On est la”, “Vostochnye skazki”, “One Day”, the modern, noisy tones of the West are harmoniously combined with the poetic lyricism of the East.
The songs “Broken Angel”, “Pure Love”, which brought the pop singer fame, plunged the audience into the world of youth and memories. Songs such as “Donya”, “She Makes Me Go” and “One Night in Dubai” were greeted with thunderous applause. The world-famous artist raised the festive spirit of the audience with several other wonderful songs. The songs “Boro boro”, “I adore you”, which were once loved and listened to by contemporaries, became a wonderful highlight of the concert.
At the end of the concert, Arash Labaf sincerely congratulated everyone on the upcoming year 2026, noting that it was a great honor for him to perform on the Turkmen stage and that he was very proud to realize that he had so many fans here.
