Italian side Atalanta has bolstered its attacking options with the signing of a new forward. The Bergamo-based club has acquired 25-year-old Giacomo Raspadori, who moved to Atletico Madrid last summer. According to the agreement between the two parties, the Italian club will pay 25 million euros to the Spanish side for the transfer. Raspadori, who will wear the number 18 jersey for his new team, has signed a long-term contract.
After joining Atletico Madrid in August last year, Raspadori made a total of 15 appearances and managed to score 2 goals for the Spanish club. The talented forward began his professional career at Sassuolo, where he scored 18 goals in 82 matches over four seasons. In 2022, he moved to Napoli, where he played for three seasons, making 109 appearances and adding another 18 goals to his tally. Furthermore, Raspadori has represented the Italian national team in 45 matches to date, scoring 11 goals.
