As part of its “Vision 2030” program, Saudi Arabia plans to implement grand construction projects that will amaze the world. These projects aim to reduce the country’s dependence on oil, diversify the economy, and expand tourism potential.
The construction of the “Rise Tower”, which is expected to reach a height of 2,000 meters (2 km), is planned for the capital, Riyadh. This building will be twice as tall as the current world record holder, Dubai’s “Burj Khalifa”. This is reported by “Time Out Dubai”.
Consisting of 678 floors, the skyscraper will house luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, panoramic observation decks, and modern business centers. The project has been under development since 2023 and is currently in the design phase.
