On June 4, 2024 the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D.Gulmanova accepted credential from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Turkmenistan Mr. Lyubomir Frebort.
On behalf of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible position and wished him success in his work aimed at strengthening friendly relations developing on a bilateral and multilateral basis, as well as effective interstate dialogue.
During the meeting, Ambassador was introduced to the priorities of the domestic and foreign policy of our country. The successful socio-economic development of our independent, permanently neutral state and improving the well-being of the Turkmen people are the main goal of the ongoing reforms. In this regard, special attention was paid to the main issues of social policy.
During the meeting, the parties were noted the importance of the results achieved in the development of cooperation in the trade-economic, cultural – humanitarian spheres, as well as at the parliamentary level and in improving of parliamentary friendship groups.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic assured that he would make every effort to further deepen effective cooperation that fully meets consistent with the interests of both countries.
