Star footballer Lionel Messi has done what he does best and led his team to victory by scoring two goals in an outstanding performance in a match against the New England Revolution on Saturday night, Marca reported.
Messi put on a masterclass performance as over 65,000 fans watched Inter Miami defeat the Revs with a 4-1 victory.
The Argentine player also set a new record by reaching 1,200 career assists.
Only 40 seconds into the game, and the first goal was scored by the Revs side by Tomas Chanclalay.
Later in the 32nd and 67th minutes, Messi scored two goals, showing the crowd why he's the best.
Benjamin Cremaschi scored the third goal, energising the crowd in the 83rd minute.
Luis Suárez's fourth goal in the 88th minute secured Inter Miami's position at the top of the Eastern Conference with 21 points.
Inter Miami stand as the best team in the entire Major League Soccer, while New England remains at the bottom of the league with four points.
On the 11th day of the tournament, Inter Miami will take on the New York Red Bulls, and New England will visit the Chicago Fire in "The Windy City".
