Turkmen fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov secured an early victory over American Impa Kasanganay to become the new PFL light heavyweight champion. The final bout of the PFL World Championship 2024 Grand Prix took place on the night of November 30 (Ashgabat time) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dovletjan knocked out his esteemed opponent in 58 seconds.
Along with the championship title, the Turkmen fighter received a $1 million prize.
Yagshimuradov brought Turkmenistan its first PFL championship in his debut season. Last year, the belt was held by Impa Kasanganay.
Yagshimuradov now has 25 wins in 33 MMA fights. Impa Kasanganay suffered his 5th defeat in 19 bouts.
