On December 21, Turkmenistan’s Vice Premier Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting about the preparation plans for the New Year celebration and schoolchildren’s winter holidays.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that from January 1 to 10, celebrations in honor of the New Year will be held in kindergartens, schools, and parks: performances and film screenings for children, creative competitions among youth, and excursions to historical and cultural sites and museums are planned. Additionally, there will be a ceremony to award the Gulbaba Prize to talented children. Young Turkmen citizens will also receive New Year gifts from the country’s top leadership.
