In 2024, specialists from the state concern “Turkmennebit” successfully completed the drilling of 12 new wells at the Goturdepe field, 9 of which are operational and actively extracting hydrocarbon raw materials. This was reported by the newspaper “Turkmenistan.”
The total depth of the drilled rock formations for the production year exceeded the planned target. Of this volume, more than 47.5 thousand meters were drilled for operational purposes.
The company’s drillers plan to explore new depths from the beginning of this year to expand available reserves. Currently, active work is being carried out on 6 wells at the “Northern Goturdepe” field and two wells at the “Uzynada” field.
