A 14-year-old teenager from India broke six world records in mental arithmetic in one day. He calculates faster than a calculator, according to the Guinness World Records website.

A prodigy, Aaryan Shukla from Maharashtra, set his first world record about a year ago: he was able to add 50 five-digit numbers in his mind in 25.19 seconds. Since then, Aaryan has been training every day to achieve even greater accomplishments.

Recently in Dubai, he set six world records. In one day, the teenager mentally added 100 four-digit numbers in 30.9 seconds, 200 four-digit numbers in 1 minute 9.68 seconds, and 50 five-digit numbers in 18.71 seconds. Additionally, the boy divided a 20-digit number by a 10-digit number in 5 minutes 42 seconds, multiplied two five-digit numbers in 51.69 seconds, and then two eight-digit numbers in 2 minutes 35.41 seconds.

According to the teenager, he spends five to six hours every day on mathematical training.

The boy’s parents said that he started practicing mental arithmetic at the age of six and went to his first international competitions at the age of eight. Since then, Aaryan has become a world champion and a member of the World Association of Mental Calculators.
