Cristiano Ronaldo sends angry message to this Man Utd coach

29.04.2024

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly sent a brutal message to Ralf Rangnick during the latter’s job as an interim boss of Manchester United and it has now been revealed.

When United were managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford in 2021. However, the Norwegian is said to have been dismissed during November of that year as Rangnick was positioned in interim charge until the end of the season, according to Daily Mail.

Following that, Ronaldo reportedly made a demand in front of Rangnick regarding his playing time.

Ronaldo told Rangnick that he would play four out of five matches according to BILD. However, for one game that Ronaldo would miss, he wouldn't be on the bench but would instead watch it at home, the Portuguese star is said to have insisted.

When Ronaldo left having fallen out of favour under Erik ten Hag, he remained at Manchester United until November 2022.

Ronaldo heavily criticised the club during an interview with Piers Morgan just before leaving United.

He said: “I don't know what's going on, but since Sir Alex Ferguson left, I saw no evolution in the club, the progress was zero. For example, we have an interesting point that, how the club as Manchester United after they sack Ole, they bring in sports director Rangnick, which is something that nobody understands."

He added: “This guy is not even a coach. A bigger club like Manchester United bringing in a sports director – it surprised not only me but all the world, you know?”
