On June 12, 2024, a chess competition was held among students studying at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan called “Students of the Renaissance of the New Age of a Stable State”.
During the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, in the year “Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy”, under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Hero Serdar, great attention is paid to the development of mass physical education and sports in the country. It was a clear proof of it. The competition took place in a very interesting and competitive manner.
Among girls, the students of the Faculty of International Relations won the 1st place, the students of the Faculty of International Journalism go the 2nd place, and the students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations go the 3rd place. Among boys, the students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations won the 1st place, the students of the Faculty of International Law go the 2nd place, and the students of the Faculty of International Relations won the 3rd place.
The purpose of the competition was to develop healthy lifestyles among students and increase their enthusiasm for various types of sports.
As we know, the game of chess has a special importance in the improvement of human intelligence.
