Remember when Nintendo released Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on Switch? Now its predecessor, Donkey Kong Country Returns, will also appear on this portable console.
While today’s Nintendo Direct focuses primarily on games coming out in the summer and fall of 2024, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD will hit the Nintendo Switch catalog on January 16, 2025.
The game from Retro Studios that marked the return of primates to the Wii will now receive an HD re-release, as well as additional levels created for the 3DS adaptation.
