Dutch Companies Explore Agricultural Potential in Turkmenistan during the international exhibition Green Tech Amsterdam 2024

According to «Business Turkmenistan», during the international exhibition Green Tech Amsterdam 2024, held from June 10 to 14, 2024, in the Netherlands, Turkmenistan hosted an Agricultural Forum where Dutch companies explored the country’s agricultural potential.

According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium, the event brought together representatives from Dutch and Turkmen business communities, as well as officials from the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Embassy. Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, delivered a report on the current economic situation, business climate, and conditions for foreign investors and companies, emphasizing support for the private sector and efforts to attract foreign investment.

Joshgun Kerimov, a representative of the company Yigit, also addressed the forum, highlighting government support and opportunities available. He noted the company’s rapid growth and its export activities spanning 10 countries, along with plans to expand exports and implement advanced technologies.

Participants concluded the event by advocating for the organization of a dedicated agricultural mission to Turkmenistan involving Dutch companies and institutions interested in developing the sector.
