On November 27, Turkmenistan and Jordan held online consultations between their foreign ministries. The parties exchanged views on cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, according to the press service of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Diplomats discussed current issues on the regional and international agenda. They noted the need to establish inter-parliamentary ties and to continue close cooperation within international organizations.
The interlocutors considered the possibilities of creating a joint intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific, and technical cooperation, and establishing partnerships between the chambers of commerce and business circles of the two countries.
In addition, the parties touched upon issues related to enhancing cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, science, education, and healthcare.
