The Border Management Program in Central Asia organized a seminar for employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan to improve the electronic flow of data related to the clearance of goods and the digitization of processes. This was reported by the press service of the relevant Turkmen department.
Experts from Latvia introduced Turkmen specialists to new approaches to automating customs processes, including the use of artificial intelligence in information systems. Participants paid special attention to the degree of use of electronic services in Turkmenistan.
The training was aimed at assisting in assessing the current situation with the digitization and automation of customs processes, existing specialized information systems, electronic services provided by customs, as well as the level of development and integration of the “Single Window”.
