Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, visited Saudi Arabia on a working visit from November 24-25. The parties discussed the prospects of organizing a joint business forum in Samarkand in 2025, according to the press service of the Uzbek government.
The politician participated in the 28th session of the World Investment Conference and held official talks with the country’s Minister of Investments, Khalid Al-Falih, and heads of major international companies. The session was attended by 3,000 representatives from over 100 countries.
Experts identified the main factors that will influence the investment “landscape” on the international stage. In addition, the parties discussed strategies for attracting foreign investments. During the negotiations with Khalid Al-Falih, Kudratov also discussed the prospects of organizing a joint business forum in Samarkand. The event is scheduled for 2025.
