Ashgabat to Host Large-Scale Exhibition of Turkish Goods

02.12.2024

From December 4 to 6, Ashgabat will host the eleventh exhibition of Turkish export goods. The event will bring together more than 70 Turkish companies and associations aiming to strengthen economic ties between the two friendly countries and strategic partners. This was reported to SNG.Today by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Turkmenistan.

The exhibition will be particularly significant due to the expected visit of Turkey’s Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, along with a delegation. The head of the Turkish trade department plans not only to participate in the opening ceremony but also to personally visit the stands of Turkish exhibitors. Additionally, meetings with representatives of the Turkmen government are planned to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in key areas such as trade, the textile industry, and interaction on stock exchanges.

The exhibition will provide Turkish companies with a unique opportunity to present their products in the Turkmen market and establish new business contacts. Turkmen entrepreneurs will also be able to familiarize themselves with a wide range of high-quality Turkish-made goods and further strengthen the potential for cooperation with Turkish partners.

As part of the exhibition, a meeting of the Turkmenistan-Turkey Business Council will be held, organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The forum will serve as an additional platform for discussing current issues of economic cooperation and finding new points of contact.
