On December 10, Chairwoman of the Turkmenistan Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova received the credentials of the newly appointed Belgian Ambassador Julien de Fraipon. The head of parliament congratulated the diplomat on starting his mission in the republic and wished him success in fulfilling his responsible duties. This was reported by the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age.”
The Belgian diplomat was acquainted with the priority areas of Turkmenistan’s domestic and foreign policy, the main vector of which is the establishment of broad international cooperation in the interests of all. The ambassador also learned about the main goals and objectives of the large-scale reforms in the country.
Special attention was paid to the possibility of intensifying Turkmen-Belgian inter-parliamentary relations, the expansion of which will contribute to the activation of political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian dialogue.
