According to insiders, Victor Peng, the former president of AMD who left his position this summer, may be a candidate for the head of the company.
The information about the possible appointment was published by user IanCutress on the social network X.com, citing his own sources.
However, there has been no confirmation from Intel yet. Other candidates mentioned include the company’s interim leaders, David Zinsner and Michelle Johnston Holthaus, who are currently sharing the CEO duties.
Despite the personnel changes, Intel is not slowing down its pace of work. Recently, the company introduced new mid-range gaming graphics cards, continuing to strengthen its position in the graphics accelerator market.
