According to Yonhap News, the presentation will be limited to showing an image or video, with the full launch of the device set for the third quarter of 2025.

The glasses will operate on a platform developed by Samsung in collaboration with Google, based on Android.

The core functionality will include augmented reality (XR) technologies, gesture control, and contactless payment. Notably, the device is rumored to not have a display and will weigh around 50 grams, resembling Ray-Ban smart glasses.

Samsung also plans to introduce the XR platform in December 2024, marking an important step in the development of the company’s smart device ecosystem.
