On December 2nd in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Armenia, Arsen Avagyan, who presented copies of his credentials. The parties discussed the development of trade and economic relations, with a detailed review of cooperation in the fields of transport and energy.
Special attention was given to the further development of cultural and humanitarian ties between the countries, including the organization of mutual Culture Days, Film Days, and other joint events.
The interlocutors also discussed key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Armenia in the political and diplomatic sphere. In this context, Meredov and Avagyan noted the importance of dialogue at the highest state level.
