Turkmenistan and Brazil Discuss Expansion of Trade Partnership

On December 10, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ahmet Gurbanov, received copies of the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Brazil (residing in Astana), Marcel Fortuna Biato. The parties discussed prospects for enhancing trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, according to the press service of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Marcel Fortuna Biato highlighted the significance of the upcoming 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) in 2025, scheduled to be held in Brazil. The foreign diplomat invited the Turkmen delegation to participate in the forum.

Additionally, the diplomats discussed the possibilities of developing political-diplomatic interaction, noting the effectiveness of the partnership within the framework of the UN. The conversation also touched on the importance of events in honor of the International Day of Neutrality, which brought foreign guests to Ashgabat.
