On December 3rd in Mashhad, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Oman (residing in Ankara) Saif Bin Rashid Bin Saif Al-Jahwari. The diplomats discussed the development of interstate cooperation.
Ahmet Gurbanov and Saif Bin Rashid Bin Saif Al-Jahwari discussed cooperation in the political and diplomatic spheres. In this regard, they considered the possibilities of organizing mutual visits at the level of foreign ministries in 2025.
The parties also expressed interest in developing partnerships in the trade and economic sectors. The interlocutors noted the potential for cooperation in the oil and gas sector, agriculture, and textile industry, emphasizing the need to utilize the potential of the international transport and transit corridor “Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman.”
Additionally, the diplomats exchanged views on holding joint events, including business forums, exhibitions, establishing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries, and conducting cross-cultural Days.
