Representatives of the customs services of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan held an online meeting to discuss issues of exchanging educational technologies and training methods, and organizing mutual advanced training courses. This was reported by the news agency “Turkmenistan: Golden Age.”
The participants considered the possibility of organizing mutual advanced training courses and studying Uzbekistan’s experience in applying the Harmonized System of Description and Coding of Goods. In this regard, the initiative to hold a seminar for employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was discussed.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop an Action Plan for 2025 and draw up an annual schedule of online seminars. The negotiations were held within the framework of the relevant memorandum of understanding between the relevant structures of the two countries.
