The tool will help developers manage purchases through the “secure system” of the App Store, which includes payment processing, tax support, and customer service.
Using the Advanced Commerce API, developers will be able to optimize their work with so-called “In-App Purchases” and offer a “better experience for their users,” while Apple will take care of the backend services.
Currently, developers can apply to use this tool, although more detailed information about eligibility and the application process has not yet been announced by the company.
