A cultural evening was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels, gathering European cultural figures, art experts, consultants, and connoisseurs of ancient artifacts. The event was a bright conclusion to the exhibition of Turkmen culture, which took place as part of the world-renowned Civilizations Winter Edition period in the Sablon gallery district.
During the cultural evening, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan delivered a speech, noting the uniqueness of this event. He emphasized that for the first time, Turkmen products were presented in such a prestigious place as Sablon, and that this experience was valuable for promoting Turkmen culture in Europe.
“This exhibition is an important step for Turkmenistan in the field of culture. We presented our cultural and historical heritage in such a prestigious place for the first time, and it was an incredible experience for our mission. Through such initiatives, we build cultural bridges that strengthen peace and trust. Turkmen culture is a depth that we rediscover each time through such events,” the Ambassador noted.
The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the director of the European Central Asian Creative Alliance, Elena Kharitonova, for her active participation and creative approach aimed at promoting Turkmen culture on the international stage.
A special moment of the evening was a presentation by Sheker Akiniazova, the founder of Art Studio Keşde. She spoke about the uniqueness of Turkmen products, their symbolism, historical significance, and role in world culture. Guests learned with great interest about traditional carpets, textiles, and jewelry, which caused admiration and many questions.
The Ambassador also noted that although the exhibition has ended, it “moves” to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels. Many of the exhibited items will now adorn the walls of the embassy, where they will continue to tell the story of Turkmen culture. For all those interested in Turkmen culture, the doors of the embassy are always open.
The cultural evening was the final chord of a successful exhibition.
Turkmenistan intends to continue organizing such events to further reveal its culture to the European audience.
