Previously, each change would result in the entire file being re-uploaded to the cloud. Now, with the new “differential upload” feature, Google Drive can identify the changed parts of a file and synchronize only those fragments.
“This speeds up the synchronization process in both directions, saves data and bandwidth. The feature is already available in Google Workspace and personal Google accounts,” writes PCWorld.
