Fenoglio noted that the visibility of Le Monde on the platform has been steadily declining, as has that of other traditional media. For over a year, the newspaper has limited its activity on X, and now it will stop sharing content altogether while the platform operates in its current mode. He also urged Le Monde journalists to “reconsider” their presence on the site.
This decision follows similar steps by other French and international media, including Ouest France, Mediapart, and The Voice of the North, according to French media reports.
