American singer Katy Perry is preparing for a space flight on a Blue Origin spacecraft owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos.
This is the first all-female crew since Valentina Tereshkova’s historic mission in 1963. However, the flight itself will be short—just 10-12 minutes.
The mission will be the 31st for Blue Origin and the 11th with people on board. The company offers a similar space experience to anyone interested—for $150,000, you can leave a deposit and reserve a place on a future suborbital flight.
