As noted by The Verge, this will assist already “overburdened security teams.” Six AI agents developed by Microsoft, along with five created by partners, have been introduced. These agents provide functionalities for sorting and processing phishing and data leak alerts, identifying critical incidents, and monitoring vulnerabilities.
Security teams will be able to autonomously tackle large-scale tasks using Security Copilot agents integrated with various security solutions from Microsoft. Moreover, Microsoft is collaborating with OneTrust, Aviatrix, BlueVoyant, Tanium, and Fletch to incorporate third-party security agents.
This will enable faster analysis of data leaks and network disruptions, making the process simpler.
“The development of AI agents is becoming a popular way for companies like Microsoft to offer AI tools for enterprises. Microsoft has updated its Copilot for enterprises and individual users to provide them with additional security features,” the source writes.
