Apple might bring back the mini smartphone format but in an unexpected way — in 2026, the company will introduce the foldable iPhone Fold.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the external screen of the new device will measure just 5.5 inches — almost like the iPhone 13 mini (5.4 inches). This would be the first iPhone with such a compact display in recent years.
Meanwhile, when unfolded, the device expands into a full 7.8-inch display — nearly the size of an iPad mini. Thus, users get two gadgets in one: a small iPhone and a mini tablet.
This move could appeal to fans of both compact models and larger screens. However, the price of the device is rumored to range from $2000 to $2500 — double the cost of the usual Pro versions of the iPhone.
