Color accuracy. The AdobeRGB standard is suitable for designers, photographers, and those working with print products. DCI-P3 is used in the film industry and is needed for video and visual effects work. It’s also important that the monitor covers at least 95% of AdobeRGB.
Resolution. For most tasks, 2K resolution is optimal. A 4K monitor is necessary for serious graphic work involving highly detailed videos and images. However, this also increases system load.
Calibration. Regular calibration is required after purchase.
Other features. For working with graphics, IPS-panel monitors are the best choice. If you are editing videos, monitors with 60−120 Hz refresh rates ensure smooth visuals. Also, check viewing angles and brightness levels.
