On April 5, the VI UNESCO Club “Peace, Trust – the Basis of Humanism and Development” opened at the International University for Humanities and Development. The opening ceremony, which took place with the participation of a number of honorary guests, Hero of Turkmenistan Chynar Rustemova, as well as professors, teachers and students who made a worthy contribution to the scientific, educational and cultural-humanitarian development of the country, was a great success. The UNESCO Club, which opened with great enthusiasm and joy, became another proof of the activities carried out to spread peace and brotherhood in our homeland.

The main goal of opening the UNESCO Club at the International University for the Humanities and Development, providing education in a modern and national spirit for young people who make their worthy contribution to the noble cause of strengthening peace and faith in the country, is further evidence of the enormous work done to educate young people in the spirit of true patriotism and courage, using our national traditions and culture. The importance of the club is enhanced by the increased interest of young people in the values of a number of our monuments included in the list of tangible and intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.

On this occasion, a festive event with musical accompaniment was held in the conference hall of the university. During the event, the students performed a literary and musical composition, which evoked pleasant emotions in the audience. In the final moments of the event, the performance of the song “In the Year of International Peace and Trust” by the university’s musical group “Ovaz” added significance to the event.
