Oppo has unveiled a new accessory – the Magnetic Energy Card Air, a compact external battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh that has attracted attention with its price of 149 yuan (approximately $20). This gadget is designed for wireless charging and is compatible with Oppo’s latest smartphones, such as Find X8s, X8s+, and X8 Ultra, as well as iPhone through MagSafe magnets.
The device is just 8.8 mm thick and weighs 120 grams, making it convenient to carry in a pocket. Its body is made of aluminum alloy, and NTC technology helps regulate temperature, preventing overheating. The battery is equipped with a USB-C port for charging the power bank itself (12W) and connected devices (up to 10W). Four LED indicators show the charge level.
Magnetic Energy Card Air is not tied to Oppo’s ecosystem, making it universal. This is a rare case where a brand offers a cross-platform solution. For now, the device is only available in China.
