BRUSSELS, 2025 – As part of strengthening cooperation with representatives of international media, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kingdom of Belgium has issued an accreditation card to the journalist for international publications EU Reporter and Bruxelles Korner, a researcher of relations between the European Union and Central Asia, as well as an expert in environmental management, Derya Soysal. From now on, she is officially recognized as a correspondent for Bruxelles Korner by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
It should be noted that Ms. Soysal is also a member of the prestigious Diplomatic World Institute, which underscores her authority and deep involvement in issues of diplomacy and sustainable development.
Over recent months, Derya Soysal has demonstrated active cooperation with Turkmenistan’s diplomatic mission in Brussels. Thanks to her academic and media appearances on platforms, international conferences, TV and radio programs, a broad understanding and recognition of Turkmenistan’s constructive foreign policy, in particular its policy of positive neutrality, is being formed.
A representative of the Turkmenistan Embassy in Belgium, Maral Rahimova, highly appreciated the journalist’s contribution, stating:

In her numerous interviews, publications in international media, and social networks, Derya Soysal emphasizes the importance of Turkmenistan’s international initiatives. A particular focus in her activities is the promotion of ideas embedded in the concept of the International Year of Peace and Trust – 2025, proclaimed at Turkmenistan’s initiative.
Thus, the accreditation of Ms. Soysal as a correspondent for Bruxelles Korner by Turkmenistan’s foreign affairs department is not only a recognition of her professionalism but also an important contribution to the expansion of humanitarian and informational dialogue between Turkmenistan and the international community.
