Midfielder of Kyiv Dynamo and the Surinam national team, Justin Lonwijk, will return to Ukraine after the end of the current season.
In this campaign, the 25-year-old footballer is playing on loan in the Danish league with the Viborg club. He has played 32 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
Lonwijk’s loan agreement includes a buyout option, but Viborg is unlikely to keep the Surinamese footballer. The source reports that Justin will come to Ukraine and get a chance to prove himself in training camps under the leadership of Oleksandr Shovkovskiy.
The midfielder moved to the Kyiv club in 2023 from the Belgian club Anderlecht. The transfer fee was 2 million euros, but due to high competition, Lonwijk could not secure a place in the starting lineup.
