On June 4, the opening ceremony for the international dance and folklore festival “Avaza — Land of Friendship” was held at the national tourist zone “Avaza”. The festival features around 60 art figures from countries such as Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and India.
The cultural forum was organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Balkan Regional Administration, and the opening ceremony took place at the “Avaza” aquapark. A joint concert was staged on the aquapark’s stage, where audiences warmly welcomed dance groups from various countries around the world.
Within the framework of the international festival, an international conference titled “Küştdepdi — Messenger of Peace” is scheduled to be held in the conference hall of the “Dayanç” Wellness and Recreation Center.
