Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyyev, was received by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on June 10, 2025. The meeting took place within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
At the beginning of the meeting, Nokerguly Atagulyyev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and the Chairman of the People’s Council, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. The parties discussed issues of further developing friendly, neighborly, and strategic partnerships between the two countries.
Special attention was given to creating a new agenda for large-scale cooperation in trade and economics, transport and communications, energy, and water management. The importance of preparations for the regional forum and several joint business and cultural events was also emphasized.
This meeting became an important step toward bringing cooperation between the two countries to a new level. Further implementation of joint projects and agreements is expected, opening new opportunities for strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
