On June 12, 2025, the Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan hosted an awards ceremony for the winners of the scientific research competition announced among the country’s youth in honor of Science Day.
This competition is organized jointly by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. Participants include employees of research institutes, sectoral management bodies, and production enterprises, as well as teachers and students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions and young specialists engaged in scientific activities.
This year, 1,665 young researchers took part in the competition. They presented scientific works in six areas, including nanotechnology, chemical technologies, the study of new materials and energy, biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, information and communication systems, computer technologies, modern medical practices and pharmaceutical production technologies, innovative economics, and humanitarian sciences. The jury evaluated the submitted works and announced 118 young scientists as winners.
The winners of the competition received valuable gifts and certificates on behalf of the esteemed President.
