Amazon MGM Studios announced the creation of the series on the popular game Wolfenstein. Scriptwriter Patrick Sommerville is working on the project. The producers from Keyframe Films and developers from Machinegames also joined the work. Details of the plot are not yet revealed, but in the game everything is simple – you need to kill the Nazis.
Wolfenstein is a classic game in the first-person shooter genre that appeared in the 1980s. The main character is the soldier William B. J. ” Blazhkovich, who penetrates the Nazi base and fights with soldiers and robots. In 2014, the game was restarted, and now the plot is developing in an alternative story, where the Nazis won the Second World War with the help of new technologies. The last game of the series – Wolfenstein: Youngblood – was released in 2019.
This series will be another Prime Video Video Grand Promeo project, along with Fallout adaptations, Mass Effect, God of War and Warhammer 40,000 with Henry Cavill in the main role.
