Wireless charges for Android devices will soon become faster and more convenient thanks to the new Qi2 25W standard. It was officially presented by the organization Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). Previously, Qi supported 5 W charging, then 15 watts appeared.
WPC states that many large manufacturers of Android Smartphones are already aware of this standard, and the first certified accessories, for example, UGREEN MAGFLOW with QI 2.2 support, appeared on sale. However, it is not yet clear when the phones themselves appear with support for fast charging 25 W and whether they will have built -in magnetic mount, like Apple Magsafe.
There is a hope that the new Qi2 25W standard will appear along with the upcoming series of Google Pixel 10. But it is possible that Google will limit himself to 15-watt charging.
