China showed the latest military technologies, including powerful laser weapons and a whole arsenal of combat drones. At the Autonomous District, internal Mongolia took place at the training ground, where drones and lasers in six stages were involved: intelligence, planning, attack, destruction and protection.
One of the main innovations was a synthetic crystal that can withstand hundreds of megawatts and is used in laser weapons. Lasers can hit target instantly and do not require ammunition – the main thing is that there is a source of energy.
During the demonstration, the OW5-A50 laser system shot down the drone from a distance of several kilometers. The complex is installed on a heavy army machine and includes everything necessary for work – radars, sensors and a power source.

New types of drones were also shown. Among them:
-
“Flying frog” – scout,
-
“Black bee” – a drone dropping grenades,
-
“Flying whale” – Bomb media,
-
“Flying hawk“-high-speed drone-kamikadze.
Norinco demonstrated a series of Fayluns – from small drones with a radius of up to 10 km to long -range models capable of hitting 300 km targets. Some can be launched from conventional missile installations.
