Specialists from Krasnoyarsk have developed an installation for the production of aluminum products by the method of base rolling. This technology allows you to create products directly from molten metal, including production waste.
The new method significantly reduces the cost of manufacturing long -sized products – such as rods and wire. As the professor of Siberian Federal University, Sergei Sidelnikov, explained, the technology has no analogues. Two patent applications have already been submitted for development.
Installation not only saves raw materials, but also reduces energy consumption. The process of casting and rolling becomes faster, and the use of waste in the form of shavings and defective rods reduces the costs of enterprises.
Experts note that the development will be especially in demand in industry. It allows you to process waste and produce quality products with lower costs.
