In the press service of Novgorod State University. Yaroslav the Wise reported that university experts developed a smart home system, capable of independently managing household appliances and ensuring security. The main advantage of development is cross -platform that allows you to easily integrate devices from different manufacturers.
Unlike commercial analogues, the new system is distinguished by the availability and simplicity of the configuration. The user can remotely control lighting, heating and other devices, as well as receive notifications of possible emergency situations. The system includes movement sensors, leaks, gas, smoke and temperature, as well as modules for smart outlets and switches.
The developers emphasize that their solution does not require difficult setting – it’s enough to choose ready -made work scenarios. This simplifies the use of technology for ordinary consumers. The system will also help optimize energy consumption and increase housing safety, which is especially important for families with children.
