The Schwabe holding (part of Rostec) began the industrial production of a particularly pure tetrahloride Germany at the Krasnoyarsk enterprise “Germany”. This is the first production in Russia with a purity of 99.9999%necessary for the manufacture of high -quality fiber.
Investments in the project amounted to 328 million rubles, of which 222 million rubles were provided by the Industrial Development Fund in the form of a preferential loan. New production will ensure the needs of domestic companies that produce fiber for telecommunications and 5G networks.
Particularly pure Tetrahloride Germany is used in creating preform-blanks for the production of fiber-optic cables. Due to the high degree of cleaning, the substance provides better transmission of the light signal over long distances.
As the general director of Schwabe Vadim Kalyugin noted, the launch of production corresponds to the import substitution program and increases the competitiveness of Russian products in the world market. The company plans to produce at least 2 tons of substance per year, which will completely cover the needs of domestic industry.
According to Tatyana Pavlyuk, the general director of Germania, the modernization of production became possible thanks to the support of the FRP. Previously, Russian enterprises did not produce Tetrachloride Germany with such a high degree of purification of impurities.
