Microsoft Rus, the main legal entity of Microsoft in Russia, filed an application for bankruptcy in the Moscow Arbitration Court. Information about this appeared in the official base of cases, writes TASS.
At the end of May, the company announced its intention to go bankrupt. According to the Fedresurs portal, Gazprombank is one of the creditors.
Microsoft also has three other organizations in Russia: “Microsoft Development Center Rus”, “Macrosoft Mobile Rus” and “Microsoft Paintsa Rus”. However, it was Microsoft Rus for a long time that was the main office of the company in the country.
Microsoft partner in Russia – Softline Group of Companies – previously reported that Microsoft Rus bankruptcy will not affect the work of cloud services and other Microsoft digital solutions in Russia. This is due to the fact that this legal entity was carried out mainly by marketing and representative functions.
